Born in September 1941 in Haseda-machi, Yamanaka-machi, Ishikawa Prefecture.
1969: Apprentice lacquer ware artist in Yamanaka Town
In 1974, he became independent as a lacquerware maki-e artist.
1978 Selected for the Yamanaka Town Lacquerware Crafts Exhibition
1983: Yamanaka Town Lacquerware Maki-e Artist Exhibition Excellence Award
