Born in Kyoto in 1966 (Showa 41)
Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Vocational Training School
Graduated from Kyoto Municipal Industrial Testing Center
1987 (Showa 62) Trained at the Kiyomizu Pottery Complex
1994: Started making pottery at Zensho Kiln Studio in Iwakura, Kyoto, under his father, Zensho Yamaoka.
Learn from the classics and create innovative works with modern sensibilities and ingenuity.
