[Tango no Sekku]
An event to pray for the healthy growth of boys
・The "Tan" in Tango means the "edge" of something and the beginning. (The "Uma" in Tango is the horse of the Chinese zodiac.)
・The Chinese zodiac sign of horse corresponds to May in the lunar calendar.
・Tango was celebrated as a festival on the first day of the horse in May.
The character "go" in "Tango" changed to "go" and then to "5," and the Tango Festival came to be celebrated on May 5th.
