Born in 1942 in Mie Prefecture
1959 (Showa 34) Graduated from Kyoto Prefecture Potter Vocational Training Institute
Studied under the first master Zenho (Kamiyama Zenjiro) for 10 years
1969 (Showa 44) Independent as Yamaoka Togaen
Received the title Zensho (Noboru) from his master.
1992 - 1998 Selected for the Tanko Biennale Tea Ceremony Art Exhibition
1998: Received the Kyoto Mayor's Award at the Kyoto Colored Ceramics Exhibition
2002: Certified Kyoto-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki traditional craftsman
