[Atsushi Yamakawa] (Sennyuji Kiln/Gan Kiln) The eldest son of the third generation Iwao
1962 Born in Sennyuji Temple, Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto
1982 (Showa 57) Enrolled in the Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Training Institute
1983: Entered the Kyoto Municipal Industrial Testing Institute and graduated from the specialized course.
After graduating in 1985, he continued to learn ceramic molding techniques under Professor Katsuro Kitamura at the same school.
2008: Certified as a traditional craftsman
