Born in 1955 in Higashiyama, Kyoto
1979: Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Technical College, Molding Department and Research Department
After that, he studied Kiyomizu ware under Inoue Shunpo, Nakamura Suiran, and Nakamura Shuho.
