1956: Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Technical School (Ceramics Department)
(Studied pottery under the late potter Koura Takashima)
1957: Studied ceramic painting under the late Living National Treasure Tomimoto Kenkichi
1973: Opened kiln in Higashiyama, Kyoto (Kofugama)
1978 - Trained in pottery at a pottery studio in Higashiyama, Kyoto
1989: Moved to Fushimi, Kyoto
