*Ruson jar. A pottery that was highly prized in Japan from the end of the 16th century to the beginning of the 17th century, mainly as a tea ceremony utensil. It was a miscellaneous vessel made in southern China and central Vietnam, and was highly valued by feudal lords who used it to store tea leaves.
