Born in Kyoto in 1942 (Showa 17)
Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Vocational Training School in 1961
1964 (Showa 39) Trained at Katsura Kiln in Kyoto
He studied under the founders Sohaku and Soraku, and has been devoting himself to making pottery for the tea ceremony at Katsura Kiln for over 30 years.
I am dedicated to creating works that are in keeping with the concepts of wabi and sabi.
