Today we are introducing a sweet bowl with autumn leaves openwork, a copy of Kenzan's work, by Tanaka Tomoaki.

[Tomoya Tanaka (real name Michiko Tanaka)] Representative of Omuro Kiln
Born in Kyoto in 1958 (Showa 33)
1978: Graduated from Kyoto College of Art and Design, Department of Ceramics
Won a bronze medal at the university's graduation exhibition
1979: Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Training School
1980: Studied under Professor Yoshihisa Nakamura of Tofukugama and learned how to paint Ninsei/Kenzan ware.
In 1985, she opened her own kiln in Fushimi, Kyoto. Since then, she has held solo and group exhibitions around the country, showcasing her feminine sensibilities.
