[Hara Kiyokazu (real name Kenji)]
Born in Izumo City in 1939 (Showa 14)
After studying Hagi-yaki and Izumo-yaki, he moved to Kyoto and studied Kyo-yaki and Goryeo tea ware.
1968 (Showa 43) Opened the kiln under the name Seiwa
1975 (Showa 50) Built a kiln in Uji Coal Mine
In 1981, he was appointed by Tenryu-ji Temple's Master Seiko Hirata to use the name Shoun.
1994: Certified as a traditional craftsman
[Second Generation: Kiyokazu Hara (real name: Minoru Hara)]
