Born in Tokyo in 1953 (Showa 28)
After studying at Yamajugama in Mino, he currently runs the Hyugagama kiln in Tsukui-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture.
Following in his grandfather Seiho's footsteps as a cooking instructor at the Imperial Court, he is currently studying tea ceremony and kaiseki utensils in Komino ware and Iga Mino ware.
