[Third Generation Nishio Mizutoyo (real name Nobushige)]
1902 (Meiji 35) The first generation, Zuiho (Toyo), is born in Gifu Prefecture.
1917 (Taisho 6) Engaged in the manufacture and sale of ceramics in Seto City.
1923 (Taisho 12) - Founded the predecessor Nishio Shoten
1929 (Showa 4) Moved to Yokkaichi and specialized in flower vases and tea ceremony ware.
1931 (Showa 6) The second generation Zuiho (Yutaka) was born.
1952 (Showa 27) Studied under the first master
1955: The first Nihon Gei-ten exhibition was held. Since then, the exhibition has won multiple awards, including the Minister of Education Award and the Minister of International Trade and Industry Award.
1960 (Showa 35) The third generation, Zuiho (Nobushige), is born.
In 1983, Mr. Yutaka took over as the second head priest.
After training in Osaka, Shigenobu became the apprentice of the second generation.
1990 (Heisei 2) Shigenobu continues to foster young artists even after the Nitto Art and Design Exhibition ends.
In 2001, he took over the name of Shigenobu the 3rd (still practicing today).
