Born in 1950 in Yamashiro-cho, Kyoto Prefecture
1961 (Showa 41) Completed Kyoto Prefectural Potter Vocational Training Institute
Studied under the first generation Kato Josui
1988 (Showa 63) Received the Osaka Bureau of International Trade and Industry Award at the 10th Kyoyaki and Kiyomizuyaki Exhibition
1994: Won an award at the 23rd Japanese Traditional Crafts Kinki Exhibition
1995: Won an award at the 24th Japanese Traditional Crafts Kinki Exhibition and held a four-person exhibition in France
2003: Certified as a Kyo-yaki/Kiyomizu-yaki traditional craftsman, moved his workshop to Yamashiro Taga
Since then, he has won numerous awards at department stores and public exhibitions.
