1975 (Showa 50) Studied under Nakamura Shuho
1996 Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Vocational Training School

[Imaoka Myoken (real name Shuzo)]
Born in 1955 in Kamigyo Ward, Kyoto City
1972 Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Technical College, Molding Department
Worked at a pottery studio in Sentsuji, Kyoto.
1977 (Showa 52) Studied under Kiyokazu Hara
1981 (Showa 56) Opened kiln in Yamashina, Kyoto
