Today we are introducing a round incense holder for viewing the moon, with true lacquer and rabbits in a moon and maki-e design, made by Nakamura Muneyoshi.

Born in Ishikawa Prefecture in 1932 (Showa 7)
1946 (Showa 21) Studied under his master and devoted himself to studying tea ceremony utensils.
1967 (Showa 42) Received instruction in tea ceremony from the late Professor Munekazu Nakao
1979: Won the Forestry Agency Director General's Award at the National Lacquerware Exhibition (held at Mitsukoshi Main Store, Tokyo)
1982: Received the Governor's Award at the National Lacquerware Exhibition (Mitsukoshi Department Store, Tokyo)
1983: Received the Seishitsu Association Award at the National Lacquerware Exhibition (Mitsukoshi Department Store, Tokyo)
1987 (Showa 62) Received the tea master's name (Muneyoshi)
1992 and 2002 Associate Professor of Tea Ceremony
1994: Received pottery training from Kaga Koto Ueno Yoichi
1996 Selected for the Ishikawa Prefectural Exhibition
