Born in Kyoto in 19583 (Showa 33)
1977: Enrolled as a ceramic artist at Kyoto University of Art and Design
After graduating from Kyoto College of Art and Design in 1979,
1979 (Showa 54) Enrolled in Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Training School
1980: After graduating from the Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Training School, he studied under Yoshihisa Nakamura.
1985 (Showa 60) Built a kiln in Yamashina, Kyoto
1989: Moved the kiln to Fushimi, Kyoto, where it remains to this day
Since then, he has been studying tea ceremony utensils.
