[2nd Generation Yoshimura Rakuiri] (Kyoto Rakugama Association member)
Born in Kyoto in 1929 (Showa 4)
1948 (Showa 23) Completed the Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Training School
Master 1st generation: Studied under his father, Yoshimura Jinshiro, and inherited the art of music
April 1985: Became chairman of the association
[3rd generation Yoshimura Rakuin (real name Shigeo)]
Born in Kyoto in 1959 (Showa 34)
Graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Doshisha University in 1982.
1983: Completed the Kyoto City Industrial Research Institute's Traditional Industry Successor Ceramic Arts Course
1984: Graduated from Kyoto Prefecture Pottery Training School, Molding Department
Studied under his grandfather and father, Rakuinyu
Founded and directed "Rakuiri Kiln" in 1989
In 2000, he received the "Rebirth" seal from the head priest of Sennyuji Temple, Ryusho Kumagai.
2001: Certified traditional craftsman
2004: Heisei 16th year: Succeeded in the name of Yoshimura Rakuinyu, the 3rd generation of Manpukudo
