Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Vocational Training School in 1961
1964 (Showa 39) Trained at Katsura Kiln in Kyoto
He studied under the founders Sohaku and Soraku, and has been devoting himself to making pottery for the tea ceremony at Katsura Kiln for over 30 years.
I study and refine my work with the aim of creating pieces that are in keeping with the concepts of wabi and sabi.
