Tea ceremony utensils, tea utensils, incense holder, Amabie, made by Sanshiro Imaoka, six illnesses and good health

Hello, this is Imaya Shizukaen.
Amabie incense holders are now in stock.
Amabie has been thrust into the limelight as a tool to contain the coronavirus, but there are some elements to it that make it seem frightening.
And that's where this Amabie comes in. While retaining the appearance from legends, this is the first Amabie I've seen that's so adorable.
This was an introduction to the Amabie incense holder, which is something you'll want to keep close by and look at for a long time to feel soothed.

What is Amabie?
A monster that appeared in Higo (Kumamoto) during the Edo period.
It looks like a mermaid and has a bird-like beak.
Legend has it that she vanished into the sea, saying, "If any disease breaks out, show people this picture of me."
Regarding the name "Amabie," there has only been one recorded sighting, and the meaning of the name is unknown, so one theory has been proposed that it is a misspelling of a similar yokai called "Amabiko."
Amabiko is a three-legged monkey-like monster found mainly in the Kyushu region that is said to make predictions and ward off illness.
It is written as Amahiko, Amahiko, Amahiko, Amahiko, Amahiko, Umihiko, etc.
