1994: Started making pottery at Zensho Kiln Studio in Iwakura, Kyoto, under his father, Zensho Yamaoka.
Learning from the classics, creating innovative works with modern sensibilities and ingenuity
The name Rinpa-sha is derived from the "rin" in Ogata Korin's name.
