Oitaiko's first installment in the series on the journey

March is also the time when many people start their journey into a new world through new school years and new employment, so it would be nice to have something appropriate for that.
What I would like to recommend this time is "Oidaiko".
The Okidaisu is one of the most commonly used shelf items, as it evokes the image of "journey" as people embark on a new journey in life.
It is often used because it is associated with passing the ancient Chinese senior civil service examination called ``Kexu'' and means passing the exam.
It is said that it was designed after the shape of a gate that only those who passed the imperial examination in the Song Dynasty could pass through, or that it is shaped like a platform on which to place an essay marking success.
It is commonly known as a hearth stand, so this is probably the best time to use it.
