Sake cups for kaiseki cuisine
A hiki-sakazuki is a type of cup used in tea ceremonies, and is so named because each guest draws one at a time. They are stacked one for each guest and placed on a sake cup stand.
[Nakamura Sotetsu Studio] Senke Jusho Painter
・Sen Sotan's second son, Ichio Munemori (1593-1675), became the son-in-law of the first Hachibei of the Nakamura Sotetsu family (1617-1695; Hachibei had the surname Yoshioka at the time) and worked as a lacquer artist under the name Yoshioka Jinemon. However, when Munemori inherited Kankyuan (Mushanokoji Senke) from his father Sotan, he left the Yoshioka family and returned to the Sen family, handing the family business over to Hachibei.

He formed friendships with Fujimura Yoken and Haiya Shoeki, and his representative works include Koshinko and spinning top incense containers, Yokenko and Bontori natsume.

[12th Generation Sotetsu, real name: Hiroko] Successor of the family business (1932-2005)
Born in 1932 (Showa 7) as the eldest daughter of the 11th generation. She became the heir because her elder brothers did not inherit the business.
1955 Graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts, Department of Crafts
In 1986, she took over the 12th generation of the Sen family and was allowed to serve the family, becoming the first woman to be officially recognized as the head of one of the Sen family's Ten Craftsmen.
In addition to tea ceremony utensils, he also produced many lacquerware items and was highly regarded as a craftsman.
He passed away suddenly from a myocardial infarction. His three daughters were also lacquer craft artists.
His representative works include Jinmyosai-ko, Auspicious Pine Tree Snowstorm, and Haruno Travel Chest of Drawers.
Held solo exhibitions of colorful lacquerware in various locations. Presides over "Tetsu Kobo."
Books include "Uruhashi Lacquerware Stories" (Tankosha Publishing)
1993: Received the Kyoto Prefecture Cultural Merit Award
2000: Kyoto City Cultural Merit Award
[13th Sotetsu]
In 2006, the second daughter of the 12th Sotetsu Nakamura took over the name of the 13th Sotetsu.
