Born in August 1946 (Showa 21)
1964: Graduated from Kyoto Municipal Fushimi Technical High School, Ceramic Department
1968: Graduated from the Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Vocational Training School, Ceramic Painting Department
Teacher: Studied under his father's predecessor, Zenho (Kyoto City Traditional Industry Technology Merit Award)
1992: Certified as a traditional craftsman of Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki
In 1993, he exhibited at the Contemporary Kyoto and Kiyomizu Ware Exhibition in Paris and served as an executive committee member.
In 2000, he received the Traditional Crafts Industry Merit Award from the Director of the Kinki Bureau of International Trade and Industry.
2005: Received the Kyoto Prefectural Governor's Award at the Kyoto Colored Ceramics Cooperative Association 60th Anniversary Special Exhibition
