Born in Kyoto in 1948 (Showa 23)
1969 (Showa 44) Trained as a potter under his uncle, Eiho Kato
1972 (Showa 47) Graduated from the Prefectural Pottery Training School
1977 (Showa 52) Opened kiln in Yamashina, Kyoto
1979 (Showa 54) Collaborative exhibition with Master Kiyomizu Kosho of Todaiji Temple
1980 (Showa 55) Climbed to Hanase in Rakuhoku and built a kiln.
