Born in 1944 (Showa 19) in Yamanaka Town, Ishikawa Prefecture.
1964 (Showa 39) Studied under his father, the lacquer artist Seiho, and aspired to become a Yamanaka lacquerware craftsman.
1978 (Showa 53) - Succeeded the name of the 2nd Hosai
