[7th Generation Kawasaki Waraku] Raku Pottery
It was founded during the Bunsei era by the owner of Tanzakuro, a teahouse in front of Gion Yasaka Shrine.
The foundation of unglazed pottery started by Tanzakuya Shichizaemon was passed down to the second generation Shichibei
As "Raku ware tanzakuya," we have been a Raku ware manufacturer for over 200 years.
In 1918 (Taisho 7), he was given the name "Waraku" by Admiral Togo Heihachiro.
Since then, the shop has continued to operate under the name "Waraku" to this day.
