初代 善峰師（上山善次郎）に10年間師事
昭和44年 山岡陶画苑として独立
師匠より 善昇（昇）の号を受けられる
平成04年〜1998年10年 淡交ビエンナーレ 茶道美術公募展 入選
平成10年 京都色絵陶芸展にて京都市長賞を受賞
平成14年 京焼・清水焼伝統工芸士認定
